No classes on Thursday, July 4 (Join us at the BLSDC Fourth of July pool and patio dance) or Sunday, July 28 (join us at our 10th. Anniversary Dinner Dance & Showcase). Students should be prepared for weather, illness, and personal needs cancellation possibilities. In the event of a cancellation on our part, the class will be extended a week or a refund or credit will be issued. Walk in prices are $3 additional per 40 to 45-minute class. Walk-in price applies at the door, if space allows.

To register for any classes, complete the registration form found on our web site, www.DancingAtTheYMCA.com and mail with payment as directed. Walk-in prices for the BLSDC Classes: add $3 extra per 40-45-minutes for each class. Walk-ins allowed only if we have met minimum registration and have not reached maximum registration.

Do not see the class you want? Call or email us and we will put it on our waiting list. We will add a class when we have six or more people interested in the same class, time and location.
Cancellation Policy: We will give a full refund for cancellations up to the first day of classes.
What to Wear to Class: Many people ask what to wear. Wear casual, comfortable clothing that does not restrict your movement. Wear light, comfortable shoes that have support for your heel. Bad choices would be boots, platform shoes, sandals or sling backs that have no heel support, and loafers that might slip off as you are dancing. Sneakers are fine for beginner lessons although some people do not like dancing in sneakers. If you catch the dancing bug, you might want to consider investing in a pair of ballroom dance shoes.
